My Story
My passion for photography really started when I was a young girl immersed in a beautiful, rural setting in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. My parents got me my first advanced Canon film camera for Christmas when I was 12 years old and my love for photographing the natural beauty around me grew every day. Many years later, after the birth of my son, that same passion extended into portraiture. I found myself studying movement, lighting, and various angles to tell a story of his childhood.
As someone with a degree in history, I have always been enamored by events and moments photographed in time that became significant pieces of a story years later. I understand the importance of capturing fleeting moments that will serve as timeless reminders of life's most treasured experiences.
